Meeting Oprah Winfrey For The First Time

Trying to get on the Oprah Winfrey was not easy. I used 2 phones to reach Harpo Studios, and the line was always busy with fans from all over the world trying to get a representative to answer the phone. Finally, someone picks up and I'm in shock! All I could think was that I was going to the Oprah Winfrey Show. Once I was given a date, I started to prepare and countdown to the date of the show. Wonder who the guest would be?
The day arrived and I was on my way to Chicago to see my hero! I took a friend with me. There was no way I could do this by myself! We arrived for the 2nd taping. I realized that although I arrived early, it wasn't early enough. There were many people ahead of us in line. We had to walk all the way to the end of the line. Well, all the people in line thought I was Oprah, and started to follow to the end of the line and asking me to take a picture. I told them I wasn't Oprah, but they wanted a picture anyway. The employees took this information inside. When I entered the building all the employees started to smile and tell me I looked just like Oprah. They couldn't wait for Oprah to see me! After going through security, your told to go to a waiting room and then when it's time you go to the studio. I'm so nervus knowing that in a matter of minutes Oprah was going to be on that stage. Oprah's stage manager saw me and was very excited. He said, "In all his years working there, he had never seen anything like this before." He asked me where I was sitting and how many, I told him just my friend and he gave us very close to the stage. While waiting on Oprah, we played a game where one of the lucky audience members would go behind the stage and come out as Oprah. I was the lucky audience member! Finally, it's time for Oprah! There she is! The first thing I thought was, We do look alike! Towards the end of the show, it was beginning to seem as thought Oprah was going to notice me at all. And then an audience member stood up and said, "Oprah have you had a chance to meet your twin?" That's how I met Oprah! What a day that was!
